Mariner Sands is limited to 771 residences -- condominiums, villas and custom-built private homes up to the million dollar plus level. Condos and Villages make up 25% of the residences.

How many golf courses do you have?

Mariner Sands has two championship golf courses and golf membership is less than 500. The Gold Course was designed by Tom Fazio and the Green Course by Frank Duane.

Are tee times required?

Yes. Members can reserve starting times using a card system whereby they request which course and when they want to play. Tuesday is Ladies Day and Thursday is Men's Day. With less than 500 members for two golf courses, Mariner Sands is well below the average number of golf members per course.

Can members own their own golf carts?

Yes. They pay an annual trail fee and can also use club carts without charge if a family member is using the family-owned cart. If a guest uses a club cart, however, a cart fee is charged.

Must you have a club membership in order to live in Mariner Sands?

Yes, every resident of Mariner Sands must have a social membership.

Do you have model homes or is Mariner Sands and established community?

Mariner Sands was turned over to the residents in 1988. No model homes exist and all our facilities are paid for.

Does Mariner Sands have a active tennis program?

Yes, with nine HarTru courts of professional quality, seven lighted for night play, Mariner Sands has an active, well respected tennis program with men's, women's and mixed play. Mariner Sands tennis players also compete against teams from other clubs in the area.

Is Mariner Sands on navigable water?

If you are interested in boating, we are located approximately three miles south of Port Salerno where boat dockage is available with easy access to the St. Lucie Inlet and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Where are the nearest beaches?

Jupiter Island is less than 15 minutes to the south of Mariner Sands in Hobe Sound and has two superb public beaches and a wild life preserve.

Are rentals available?

Does Mariner Sands permit smoking?
