A Sweet Taste of Paradise- The Mango 
The mango is often thought of as one of South Florida’s most treasured and delicious fruits. While traveling around the lower half of the state in our warmer months, you will likely spot these vivid sunset-colored beauties adorning jungle-green trees on practically every block. This is always a colorful reminder to locals that summer is here, and it's mango season!

Living with Bobcats 
Widely distributed throughout most of North America, the charismatic bobcat has adapted well to neighborhoods throughout Florida. In rural areas, bobcats are found in deep forest, swamps and hammock land. They den and rest in thick patches of saw palmetto and dense shrub. Bobcats weigh 12-28 pounds, have a short “bobbed” tail, and prey on small animals such as rabbits, rodents, birds and occasionally deer.
