Mariner Sands

Stuart's Best Championship Tennis and Pickleball Courts

Mariner Sands Country Club surpasses all other West Palm Beach and Treasure Coast tennis clubs. We have one of the most welcoming private tennis communities in South Florida.

The club’s tennis complex features nine outdoor, professional quality Har Tru tennis courts, with HydroCourt technology and are lighted for night play. The year round tennis program offers men’s leagues, women’s leagues, mixed play, inter-club tournaments, social mixers, round robins and weekly clinics.

Our tennis players range from the 3.0 to 4.5 level. We have 10 men's and women's competitive league teams from the 3.0 to 4.0 level.

Director of Tennis, Mario Cobo, is a certified PTR Professional. Men’s and women’s tennis clinics take place weekly and there are individual and group lessons as well. Holiday camps for the kids are very popular.

We offer a full service tennis pro shop. You can reach the tennis pro shop at 772-221-7350.

Pickleball

Mariner Sands was the first private community on the Treasure Coast to offer the increasingly popular game of pickleball on two hard surface courts…….a hybrid of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton.  There are over 50 active players with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.0.  Both men and women at all levels participate in interclub matches.

The tennis / pickleball pro shop can provide equipment, arrange instruction, schedule court time, and obtain playing partners.

Croquet

Croquet is a thriving amenity at Mariner Sands, with more than 120 active golf croquet and 6-wicket players, and a playing season 12 months long. For 2017-2018, the club has engaged John Osborn, a master instructor, world-class player, and member of Croquet Hall of Fame, as its Affiliate Pro. His job: to lead a season-long program of clinics, private instruction, tournaments, and inter-club play. Two of the club's four 54'x84' courts now have new LED lights, extending the playing day from 8:30am in the morning till 10:00pm at night. Mariner Sands croquet players are a notably sociable group that welcomes newcomers and veteran players with equal enthusiasm.

Bocce

Bocce is played on our two 90-foot courts by two players or two teams. Today’s bocce is derived from a game played in the Roman Empire. Most closely resembling bowling, bocce requires skill, strategy and luck.

Bocce courts are available to all members who may reserve the courts by calling (772) 221-7350 or visiting the Tennis Shop. Children 12 years of age or older may play if accompanied by a member. Children under 12 are not permitted to use the bocce courts.

The bocce equipment is the property of the club. It is to be used with care and replaced in the storage cabinet when play is finished.
